RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS,
DESIGNATING AUTHORIZED SIGNATORIES FOR CONTRACTUAL AND
FINANCIAL DOCUMENTS PERTAINING TO THE LOCAL HAZARD MITIGATION
PLANS PROGRAM (LHMPP), TEXAS GENERAL LAND OFFICE (GLO),
CONTRACT NUMBER 22-130-044-E437.
Whereas, it is necessary to appoint persons to execute contractual and financial documents from
the Texas General Land Office, and;
Whereas, an original signed copy of the Depository..-'Authorized Signatories Designation Form to
be submitted with a copy of this Resolution, and;
Whereas, the City of Baytown, Texas acknowledges that in the event that an authorized signatory
of the City changes, the City Manager must provide the Texas General Land Office with a revised
Depository."Authorized Signatories Designation Form; NOW,THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS:
Section 1: The City of Baytown, Texas has received funding from the Texas General Land
Office's Local Hazard Mitigation Plans Program to update the city's Hazard Mitigation Action Plan;
Section2: The City Manager and Assistant City Manager are authorized to execute contractual
documents between the Texas General Land Office and the City of Baytown, Texas for the Local Hazard
Mitigation Plans Program, Texas General Land Office,Contract Number 22-130-044-E437.
Section 3: The Director of Finance and Assistant Director of Finance are authorized to execute
the financial documents required for requesting funds approved in the Local Hazard Mitigation Plans
Program, Texas General Land Office, Contract Number 22-130-044-E437.
Section 4: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City
Council of the City of Baytown.
