A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE BAYTOWN FIRE
CONTROL, PREVENTION, AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES
DISTRICT AMENDING THE BAYTOWN FIRE CONTROL, PREVENTION,
AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES DISTRICT'S FISCAL YEAR 2025-
2026 BUDGET BY REPROGRAMMING NINETY-TWO THOUSAND THREE
HUNDRED AND NO 100 DOLLARS ($92,300.00) FROM FUND BALANCE
TO MACHINERY AND EQUIPMENT FOR THE PURCHASE OF AN
ADDITIONAL COMPRESSED AIR FOAM SYSTEM (CAFS) THAT WAS NOT
INCLUDED IN THE ORIGINAL QUOTE FOR THE NEW FIRE ENGINE 7;
AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE BAYTOWN FIRE
CONTROL, PREVENTION, AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES DISTRICT:
Section 1: That subject to the approval by the City Council of the City of Baytown, the
Board of Directors of the Baytown Fire Control, Prevention, and Emergency Medical Services
District hereby amends the Baytown Fire Control, Prevention, and Emergency Medical Services
District's Fiscal Year 2025-2026 Budget by reprogramming NINETY-TWO THOUSAND
THREE HUNDRED AND NO! 100 DOLLARS ($92,300.00) from Fund Balance to Machinery
and Equipment (32007020-56800) for the purchase of an additional Compressed Air Foam System
(CAFS) that was not included with the original quote for the new Fire Engine 7.
Section 2: This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by
the Board of Directors of the Baytown Fire Control, Prevention, and Emergency Medical Services
District.
INTRODUCED, READ and PASSED by the affirmative vote of the Board of Directors of
the Baytown Fire Control, Prevention, and Emergency Medical Services District on this the 21
day of October, 2025.
