AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,
TEXAS, APPROVING A CHANGE IN THE BAYTOWN FIRE CONTROL,
PREVENTION, AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES DISTRICT'S
FISCAL YEAR 2025-2026 BUDGET FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES TO
REPROGRAM FUNDS FROM FUND BALANCE TO MACHINERY AND
EQUIPMENT IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED NINETY-TWO
THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($92,300.00) TO
FUND A CHANGE ORDER FOR NEW ENGINE 7; MAKING OTHER
REPRESENTATIONS RELATED THERETO; AND PROVIDING FOR THE
EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby approves changes in
the Baytown Fire Control, Prevention, and Emergency Medical Services District's Fiscal Year
2025-2026 budget for municipal purposes to reprogram NINETY-TWO THOUSAND THREE
HUNDRED AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($92,300.00) from Fund Balance to Machinery and
Equipment to fund the change order for new Engine 7, covering the addition of a Compressed Air
Foam System (CAFS) that was not included in the original quote.
Section 2: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by
the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas.
INTRODUCED, READ and PASSED, by the affirmative vote of the City Council of the
City of Baytown this the 23rd day of October, 2025.
