A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS,
APPOINTING MARGA MATTHEWS, JOSE ORTEGA AND MICHAEL SPRINGER
TO THE BAYTOWN POLICE ADVISORY COMMITTEE; AND PROVIDING FOR
THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.

WHEREAS, Section 2-424 of the City of Baytown's Municipal Code of Ordinances provides for
the appointment of Members to the Baytown Police Advisory Committee (Committee); NOW,
THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas hereby appoints three (3)
members to Baytown Police Advisory Committee as follows:
A. Marga Matthews is appointed to serve as a Member of the Committee with a term
expiring September 30, 2027
B. Jose Ortega is appointed to serve as a Member of the Committee with a term expiring
on September 30, 2027; and
C. Michael Springer is appointed to serve as a Member of the Committee with a term
expiring on September 30, 2027.
Section 2: This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City
Council of the City of Baytown.
