AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS
APPROVING THE FIRST RENEWAL OF THE AS-NEEDED LIQUID FERRIC CHLORIDE
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE BAYTOWN AREA WATER AUTHORITY AND PVS
TECHNOLOGIES, INC.; MAKING OTHER PROVISIONS RELATED THERETO; AND
PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.

WHEREAS,the Baytown Area Water Authority's enabling legislation requires that the City Council approve
contracts before the Baytown Area Water Authority enters into the same; and
WHEREAS, via Resolution No. 2024-34, the Board of Directors of the Baytown Area Water Authority
authorized an As-Needed Liquid Ferric Chloride Agreement with PVS Technologies, Inc. on September 18, 2024
(the"Agreement"); and
WHEREAS, the Agreement provides for annual renewals; and
WHEREAS,on September 17,2025,the Board of Directors of the Baytown Area Water Authority met and
approved the first renewal of the As-Needed Liquid Ferric Chloride Agreement with PVS Technologies, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, the City of Baytown desires to approve the same;NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas hereby approves the first renewal of
the As-Needed Liquid Ferric Chloride Agreement between the Baytown Area Water Authority and PVS
Technologies, Inc.
Section 2: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City Council
of the City of Baytown,Texas.
