A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS,
APPOINTING TERRY SAIN AS CHAIRPERSON TO THE BAYTOWN TAX
INCREMENT REINVESTMENT ZONE NUMBER ONE, BAYTOWN TAX
INCREMENT REINVESTMENT ZONE NUMBER TWO AND BAYTOWN
REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE
THEREOF.
WHEREAS, Chapter 311 of the Texas Tax Code provides for the appointment of a Board of
Directors to the Baytown Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone Number One; and
WHEREAS, Chapter 311 of the Texas Tax Code provides for the appointment of a Board of
Directors to the Baytown Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone Number Two; and
WHEREAS, Subchapter D of Chapter 431 of the Texas Transportation Code and Chapter 394 of
the Texas Local Government Code provide for the appoint of a Board of Directors to the Baytown
Redevelopment Authority; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors for the Baytown Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone Number
One, Baytown Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone Number Two and the Baytown Redevelopment
Authority are comprised of the same members, NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas hereby appoints a Chairperson
to the Board of Directors Baytown Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone Number One, Baytown Tax
Increment Reinvestment Zone Number Two and Baytown Redevelopment Authority as follows:
A. Terry Sain is appointed to serve as Chairperson of the Board of Directors Baytown
Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone Number One, Baytown Tax Increment
Reinvestment Zone Number Two and Baytown Redevelopment Authority with a
term expiring on August 31, 2027;
Section 2: This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City
Council of the City of Baytown.
