A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS,
APPOINTING ABRAHAM CARRILLO, THE CITY CLERK, VICTOR MEDRANO,
AND MIRTHA MORALES TO THE FIRE CONTROL, PREVENTION & EMS
DISTRICT; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.
WHEREAS, Chapter 344 of the Texas Local Government Code provides for the appointment of
the Boards of Director to the Fire Control, Prevention & Emergency Medical Services District (District);
NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby appoints four (4) members to
the Fire Control, Prevention & Emergency Medical Services District, as follows:
A. Abraham Carrillo is appointed to serve as a board member of the District with a term
expiring on August 31, 2027;
B. The City Clerk is appointed to serve as a board member of the District with a term
expiring on August 31, 2027;
C. Victor Medrano is appointed to serve as a board member of the District with a term
expiring on August 31, 2027; and
D. Mirtha Morales is appointed to serve as a board member of the District with a term
expiring on August 31, 2027.
Section 2: This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City
Council of the City of Baytown.
INTRODUCED, READ and PASSED by the affirmative vote of the City Council of the City of
