A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS,
APPOINTING LLOYD J. HERRERA, NICHOLAS RICE, RIKKI WHEELER AND THE
CITY CLERK TO THE BAYTOWN CRIME CONTROL AND PREVENTION
DISTRICT; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.

WHEREAS, Chapter 363 of the Texas Local Government Code provides for the appointment of a
Boards of Director to the Baytown Crime Control and Prevention District (District); NOW,
THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas hereby appoints four (4)
members to the Baytown Crime Control and Prevention District as follows:
A. Lloyd J. Herrera is appointed to serve as a Member of the District with a term
expiring on August 31, 2027;
B. Nicholas Rice is appointed to serve as a Member of the District with a term
expiring on August 31, 2027;
C. Rikki Wheeler is appointed to serve as a Member of the District with a term
expiring on August 31, 2027; and
D. The City Clerk is appointed to serve as a Member of the District with a term
expiring on August 31, 2027.
Section 2: This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City
Council of the City of Baytown.
INTRODUCED, READ and PASSED by the affirmative vote of the City Council of the City of
Baytown this the 28th day of August, 2025.
