A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,TEXAS,
DESIGNATING AUTHORIZED SIGNATORIES FOR CONTRACTUAL
DOCUMENTS AND DOCUMENTS FOR REQUESTING FUNDS PERTAINING TO
THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT DISASTER
MITIGATION PROGRAM CONTRACT NO. 24-065-089-E765 AND PROVIDING
FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.
WHEREAS, the City of Baytown, Texas,has received a Community Development Block Grant
Disaster Mitigation Program("CDBG-MIT-MOD")award to provide infrastructure improvements; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to appoint persons to execute contractual documents and documents
for requesting funds; and
WHEREAS, an original signed copy of the CDBG-MIT-MOD Depository."Authorized Signatories
Designation Form is to be submitted with a copy of this Resolution; and
WHEREAS, the City of Baytown, Texas, acknowledges that in the event that an authorized
signatory of the City changes (elections, illness, resignations, etc.), the City must provide a revised
Depository..-'Authorized Signatories Designation Form; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown,Texas, hereby authorizes the Mayor and
City Manager to execute contractual documents and documents for requesting funds associated with the
Community Development Block Grant-MIT-MOD Program.
Section 2: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas hereby authorizes the Mayor and
the City Manager to execute environmental review documents and to certify environmental clearance
matters associated with the CDBG-MIT-MOD projects.
Section 3: That the City Council of the City of Baytown,Texas,hereby authorizes the Mayor, the
City Manager, the Director of Finance, and the Director of Public Works and Engineering to execute the
State of Texas Purchase Voucher and Request for Payment Form and related documents required for
requesting funds approved in the Community Development Block Grant-MIT-MOD Program Contract
number 24-065-089-E765.
Section 4: This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City
Council of the City of Baytown.
