Ordinance No. 16,215 ORDINANCE NO. 16,215 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, APPROVING A THREE-YEAR RENEWAL AGREEMENT WITH CDW GOVERNMENT LLC,THROUGH THE OMN1A PARTNERS COOPERATIVE PURCHASING AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF MESA, ARIZONA, CONTRACT NO. 2018011-01; AND AUTHORIZING PAYMENT IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED ONE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED FORTY-THREE AND 90,100 DOLLARS ($101,943.90), MAKING OTHER PROVISIONS RELATED THERETO; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF. WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Baytown has approved Interlocal Agreements for cooperative purchasing with Omnia Partners; and WHEREAS, pursuant to such agreement, the City may make purchases based upon the bids received by Omnia Partners; and WHEREAS, Omtta Partners has taken bids and entered into a contract for the purchase of information technology solutions and services for various departments throughout the City of Mesa, Arizona, Contract #201801 l-01, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,TEXAS' Section L That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby authorizes approval of a 3-year renewal to CDW Government LLC,through the Omnia Partners Cooperative Purchasing Agreement with the City of Mesa, Arizona, contract #2018011-01, and authorizes payment in an amount not to exceed ONE HUNDRED ONE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED FORTY-THREE AND 901100 DOLLARS ($101,943.90). Section 2: That pursuant to the provisions of Texas Local Government Code Annotated §252.048, the City Manager is hereby granted general authority to approve any change order involving a decrease or an increase in costs of FIFTY THOUSAND AND NO`100 DOLLARS ($50,000.00) or less, provided that the original contract price may not be increased by more than twenty-five percent (25Q-o) or decreased by more than twenty-five percent (251o) without the consent of the contractor to such decrease. Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
