A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS,
APPROVING HARRIS COUNTY MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 473'S
ISSUANCE OF FOUR -MILLION, FIVE -HUNDRED THOUSAND AND NO/100
DOLLARS ($4,500,000.00) UNLIMITED TAX BONDS, SERIES 2025, AS MEETING
THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 98-703(17) OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES,
BAYTOWN, TEXAS; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.
WHEREAS, Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 473 ("MUD 473") has submitted a
copy of the following to the City for review:
1. the staff memorandum of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality approving
MUD 473's projects and bonds,
2. MUD 473's proposed bond order,
3. MUD 473's proposed preliminary official statement, bid form and notice of sale;
and
WHEREAS, the City staff reviewed the information submitted and has detennined that the
criteria contained in Section 98-703(17) of the Code of Ordinances, Baytown, Texas, have been satisfied
by MUD 473; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby approves Harris
County Municipal Utility District No. 473's issuance of FOUR -MILLION, FIVE -HUNDRED
THOUSAND AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($4,500,000.00) Unlimited Tax Bonds, Series 2025 as meeting
the requirements of Section 98-703(17) of the Code of Ordinances, Baytown, Texas.
Section 2: This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City
Council of the City of Baytown.
INTRODUCED, READ and PASSED by the affirmative vote of the City Council of the City of
Baytown this the 24`h day of July, 2025.
