RESOLUTION NO. 3015
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS,
APPOINTING MARGA MATTHEWS AND JOSE ORTEGA TO THE BAYTOWN
POLICE ADVISORY COMMITTEE;AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE
THEREOF.

WHEREAS, Chapter 2 "Administration", Article VI "Boards and Commissions", Division 6
"Baytown Police Advisory Committee", Section 2-424 of the City of Baytown's Municipal Code of
Ordinances provides for the appointment of Members to the Baytown Police Advisory Committee
(Committee); NOW,THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas hereby appoints two (2)
member to Baytown Police Advisory Committee as follows:
A. Marga Matthews is appointed to serve as a Member of the Committee with a term
expiring on September 30,2025;and
B. Jose Ortega is appointed to serve as a Member of the Committee with a term expiring
on September 30,2025;
Section 2: This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City
Council of the City of Baytown.
INTRODUCED, READ and PASSED by the affirmative vote of the City Council of the City of
Baytown this the 26th day of June,2025.
