A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS,
ADOPTING THE CITY OF BAYTOWN HAZARD MITIGATION ACTION PLAN
UPDATE 2025;AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby adopts the City of
Baytown Hazard Mitigation Action Plan Update 2025. The documents are attached hereto as Exhibit"A",
Exhibit"B",and Exhibit"C"and incorporated herein for all intents and purposes.
Section 2: This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City
Council of the City of Baytown,Texas.
Section 3: The Emergency Management Coordinator and Hazard Mitigation Planning Team
are authorized to maintain, revise, and update this plan to ensure compliance with federal, state, and
accreditation purposes and will coordinate with the Floodplain Administrator to submit an annual progress
report to City Council to maintain CRS floodplain compliance.
