A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS,
GRANTING THE PETITION OF PULTE GROUP HOUSTON FOR THE PROPOSED
ANNEXATION OF APPROXIMATELY 19.86 ACRES, LOCATED ON THE NORTH
SIDE OF INTERSTATE HIGHWAY 10 APPROXIMATELY 1,925 FEET EAST OF
GARTH ROAD, ADDRESSED AS 5401 INTERSTATE HIGHWAY 10, BAYTOWN,
TEXAS, AND LEGALLY DESCRIBED AS TRACT 5 (AG-USE), ABSTRACT 21
GEORGE ELLIS, HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS; AUTHORIZING THE
PREPARATION OF A SERVICE PLAN; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE
DATE THEREOF.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby grants the petition
of Pulte Group Houston for the proposed annexation of approximately 19.86 acres, located on the north
side of Interstate Highway 10 approximately 1,925 feet east of Garth Road, addressed as 5401 Interstate
Highway 10, Baytown,Texas, and legally described as Tract 5 (Ag-Use), Abstract 21 George Ellis, Harris
County, Texas. Said petition is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein for all intents and
purposes.
Section 2: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby authorizes and
directs the Planning and Development Services Department to prepare a service plan for the property
identified in Section 1 hereof.
Section 3: This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the
City Council of the City of Baytown.
INTRODUCED, READ and PASSED by the affirmative vote of the City Council of the City of
Baytown this the 12th day of June, 2025.
