A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS,
CONFIRMING THE CITY MANAGER'S APPOINTMENT OF LESLEY KOHLES AS
THE DIRECTOR OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN STERLING MUNICIPAL LIBRARY;
AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.

WHEREAS, Section 20 of the Charter of the City of Baytown,Texas provides that the appointment
of department heads within the City be subject to the approval of the City Council of the City of Baytown;
WHEREAS, the City Manager has appointed Lesley Kohles as the Director of the Library
Department; and
WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Baytown now desires to approve the City Manager's
appointment of Lesley Kohles as the Director of the Library Department; NOW,THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas hereby confirms City
Manager's appointment of Lesley Kohles as the Director of the Library Department.
Section 2: This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City
Council of the City of Baytown.
INTRODUCED, READ and PASSED by the affirmative vote of the City Council of the City of
Baytown this the 27"'day of March, 2025.
