A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS,
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2951 TO AMEND THE APPOINTED
REPRESENTATIVE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE SOUTHEAST
TEXAS HOUSING FINANCE CORPORATION; AND PROVIDING FOR THE
EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas authorized the creation of the
Southeast Texas Housing Finance Corporation ("SETH") as a joint housing finance corporation pursuant
to the Texas Housing Finance Corporations Act, Chapter 394 of the Texas Local Government Code, and
WHEREAS, the City Council approved SETH's Articles of Incorporation, and
WHEREAS, SETH's Articles of Incorporation provide that sponsoring political subdivisions,
including the City of Baytown, shall appoint a member to the Board of Directors, and
WHEREAS, through Resolution No. 2951, adopted on November 19, 2024, the City Council
appointed City Manager Jason Reynolds to the Board of Directors of the Southeast Texas Housing Finance
Corporation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown now desires to amend its appointment to the
Board of Directors of the Southeast Texas Housing Finance Corporation to appoint Sharon Rose, the
Community Development Supervisor, or her designee to the Board of Directors of the Southeast Texas
Housing Finance Corporation; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas hereby amends Resolution
No. 2951 and appoints Sharon Rose,the Community Development Supervisor,or her designee to the Board
of Directors of the Southeast Texas Housing Finance Corporation.
Section 2: This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City
Council of the City of Baytown.
