A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS,
APPOINTING ASHLEY ROBINS, LARRY HOLLOWAY, JAMARI GILBERT, AND
BARRY L. HAWKINS TO THE FIRE CONTROL, PREVENTION & EMS DISTRICT;
AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.

WHEREAS, Chapter 344 of the Texas Local Government Code provides for the appointment of
the Boards of Director to the Fire Control, Prevention& Emergency Medical Services District (District);
NOW,THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby appoints four(4)members to
the Fire Control,Prevention& Emergency Medical Services District, as follows:
A. Ashley Robins is appointed to serve as the District 1 board member of the District with
a term expiring on August 31, 2025;
B. Larry Holloway is re-appointed to serve as Mayor's appointed board member of the
District with a term expiring on August 31, 2026;
C. Jamari Gilbert is re-appointed to serve as the District 2 board member of the District
with a term expiring on August 31, 2026; and
D. Barry L.Hawkins is re-appointed to serve as the District 5 board member of the District
with a term expiring on August 31, 2026.
Section 2: This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City
Council of the City of Baytown.
INTRODUCED, READ and PASSED by the affirmative vote of the City Council of the City of
Baytown this the 23'day of January, 2025.
