A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,TEXAS,
APPOINTING TERRY SAIN,AUGUSTIN LOREDO III,THOMAS CAPETILLO,
JAMARI GILBERT, AND BETH RIVERA TO THE PARKS AND RECREATION
BOARD;AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.

WHEREAS, Section 2-281 of the City of Baytown's Municipal Code of Ordinances provides for
the appointment of the Members to the Parks and Recreation Board(Board); NOW,THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown,Texas hereby appoints five(5)
member to the Parks and Recreation Board as follows.
A. Tent'Sain is re-appointed to serve as a Member of the Board with a teen
expiring on August 31,2025;
B. Augustin Loredo III is re-appointed to serve as a Member of the Board with a
tern expiring on August 31,2026;
C. Thomas Capetillo is re-appointed to serve as a Member of the Board with a tenn
expiring on August 31,2026;
D. Jamari Gilbert is re-appointed to serve as a Member of the Board with a term
expiring on August 31,2025,and
E. Beth Rivera is appointed to serve as a Member of the Board with a tern expiring
on August 31,2027.
Section 2: This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the
City Council of the City of Baytown.
INTRODUCED, READ and PASSED by the affinnative vote of the City Council of the City of
Baytown this the 23rd day of January,2025.
