A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS,
APPOINTING CHARLES JOHNSON TO THE BAYTOWN MUNICIPAL
DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT AND TO THE BAYTOWN HOSPITALITY PUBLIC
FACILITIES CORPORATION; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE
THEREOF.

WHEREAS, Chapter 377 of the Texas Local Government Code provides for the appointment of a
Boards of Director to the Baytown Municipal Development District (MDD);
WHEREAS, Chapter 303 of the Texas Local Government Code provides for the appointment of a
Boards of Director to the Baytown Hospitality Public Facilities Corporation (Corporation); NOW,
THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas hereby appoints one (1)
member to the Baytown Municipal Development District as follows:
A. Charles Johnson is appointed to serve as a Director of the MDD with a term
expiring on May 31, 2025;
Section 2: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas hereby appoints one (1)
member to the Baytown Hospitality Public Facilities Corporation as follows:
A. Charles Johnson is appointed to serve as a Director of the Corporation with a term
expiring on May 31, 2025;
Section 3: This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City
Council of the City of Baytown.
INTRODUCED, READ and PASSED by the affirmative vote of the City Council of the City of
Baytown this the 23r'day of January, 2025.
