AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS,
AUTHORIZING THE RECORDATION OF A CORRECTION DEED FOR THE SALE
OF LAND TO GOOSE CREEK CONSOLIDATED INDEPENDENT SCHOOL
DISTRICT; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.

WHEREAS on October 8,2020,the City Council of the City of Baytown,Texas adopted Ordinance
No. 14,532 authorizing an earnest money contract for the sale of real property to Goose Creek Consolidated
Independent School District; and
WHEREAS, the recorded deed included an incorrect property description; NOW THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby authorizes the recordation of a
correction deed for the sale of real property to Goose Creek Consolidated Independent School District. A
copy of said correction deed is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein for all intents
and purposes.
Section 2: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City
Council of the City of Baytown.
