A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS,
APPOINTING A REPRESENTATIVE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
SOUTHEAST TEXAS HOUSING FINANCE CORPORATION; AND PROVIDING
FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas authorized the creation of the
Southeast Texas Housing Finance Corporation ("SETH") as a joint housing finance corporation pursuant
to the Texas Housing Finance Corporations Act, Chapter 394 of the Texas Local Government Code, and
WHEREAS, the City Council approved SETH's Articles of Incorporation; and
WHEREAS, SETH's Articles of Incorporation provide that sponsoring political subdivisions,
including the City of Baytown, shall appoint a member to the Board of Directors; and
WHEREAS, the Board position for the City of Baytown is currently vacant. NOW,
THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas hereby appoints Jason
Reynolds or his designee to the Board of Directors of the Southeast Texas Housing Finance Corporation.
Section 2: This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City
Council of the City of Baytown.
