Ordinance No. 15,895 ORDINANCE NO. 15,895 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS APPROVING THE RENEWAL OF THE INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN TEXAS MUNICIPAL LEAGUE AND THE BAYTOWN MUNICIPAL DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT FOR THE ANNUAL PROPERTY AND CASUALTY INSURANCE PROGRAM FOR THE BAYTOWN MUNICIPAL DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT; APPROVING PAYMENT BY THE BAYTOWN MUNICIPAL DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE MILLION THREE HUNDRED SIX THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY-TWO AND NO 100 DOLLARS (S1,306,182.00) FOR THE ANNUAL PROPERTY AND CASUALTY INSURANCE PROGRAM FOR PREMIUMS, REIMBURSABLE LOSSES, ADMINISTRATIVE FEES AND DEDUCTIBLES; MAKING OTHER PROVISIONS RELATED THERETO; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF. ************************************************************************************* BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,TEXAS: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby approves the renewal of the Interlocal Agreement between Texas Municipal League and the Baytown Municipal Development District for the Annual Property and Casualty Insurance Program for the Baytown Municipal Development District. Section 2: The City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas hereby approves payment by the Baytown Municipal Development District to the Texas Municipal League in an amount not to exceed ONE MILLION THREE HUNDRED SIX THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY-TWO AND NO 100 DOLLARS (S 1,306,182.00) for the Annual Property and Casualty Insurance Program for premiums, reimbursable losses, administrative fees and deductibles. Section 3: That pursuant to the provisions of Texas Local Government Code Annotated §252.048, the City Manager is hereby granted general authority to approve any change order involving a decrease or an increase in costs of FIFTY THOUSAND AND NO 100 DOLLARS ($50,000.00) or less, subject to the provision that the original contract price may not be increased by more than twenty-five percent (25°o) or decreased by more than twenty-five percent (25°o) without the consent of the Texas Municipal League to such decrease. Section 4: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
