Box 424 Baytown, Texas 77522-0424 (281) 420-6550 • (281) 420-7176 Fax WHEREAS, in the CITY OF BAYTOWN, HARRIS AND CHAMBERS COUNTIES, TEXAS, on the 7th day of July, 2024, there is an imminent threat of severe or widespread damage, injury, or loss of life or property, resulting from tropical - force winds, coastal and inland flooding due to excessive rain, storm surge, and severe weather caused by Hurricane Beryl. Pursuant to §418.108(b) of the Government Code, the state of disaster shall Mike Lester continue for a period of not more than seven days from the date of this District 6 declaration unless continued or renewed by the City Council of Baytown, Texas.
