Ordinance No. 15,810 ORDINANCE NO. 15,810 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, MAKING CERTAIN FINDINGS; APPROVING THE PETITION FOR RELEASE OF AN AREA FROM A MUNICIPALITY'S EXTRATERRITORIAL JURISDICTION BY HIGH CATCH,LLC,PROVIDING FOR THE REMOVAL OF THE LAND FROM THE BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, AND THE DIS- ANNEXATION OF APPROXIMATELY 50.80 ACRES OF LAND,LOCATED IN THE NATHANIEL LYNCH SURVEY, A-44 IN HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS HCAD#0402880000011. ************************************************************************************* WHEREAS,the City Clerk of the City of Baytown received a Petition for Release of an Area from a Municipality's Extraterritorial Jurisdiction concerning 50.80 acres of land owned by High Catch, LLC and located in the Nathaniel Lynch Survey,A-44, in Harris County, Texas HCAD# 0402880000011. WHEREAS, the City Clerk of the City of Baytown and the Planning and Development Services Department of the City of Baytown reviewed and verified compliance with Senate Bill 2038 and Chapter 42 of the Local Government Code;NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,TEXAS: Section 1: That all matters and facts set forth in the recitals hereinabove are found to be true and such recitals are hereby approved and made a part of this ordinance for all purposes and are adopted as a part of the judgment and findings by the City Council of the City of Baytown,Texas. Section 2: That the 50.80 acres of land described above and owned by High Catch, LLC in the extraterritorial jurisdiction City of Baytown is hereby released by the City of Baytown, Texas, shall hereinafter be removed from the boundary limits of the City of Baytown,Texas,and are no longer included within the corporate limits of the City of Baytown,Texas. Section 3: The above-described land shall no longer be entitled to all of the rights and privileges of all the citizens of the City of Baytown.
