2008 06 10 FCPEMSD Minutes MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE BAYTOWN FIRE CONTROL, PREVENTION, AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES DISTRICT June 10, 20089 4:00 p.m. The regular meeting of the Board of the Baytown Fire Control, Prevention, and Emergency Medical Services District (FCPEMSD) met on June 10, 2008 at 4:00 p.m., in the Council Chamber of the City of Baytown with the following in attendance: Brenda Smith Board Member Maurice Watts Board Member Earl A. Wurzbach Board Member Frank F. McKay, III Board Member Lovella Desormeaux Board Member Robert D. Leiper Deputy City Manager Ignacio Ramirez, Sr. City Attorney Kaythie Darnell Secretary Board Member John Adkins was absent from the Board meeting. Call to Order The meeting was opened by Vice Pesident Wurzbach with a quorum present at 4:00 P.M. 1. MINUTES Consider the approval of the minutes of the regular meeting of the Board of the Baytown Fire Control, Prevention, and Emergency Medical Services District held on April 22, 2008. Motion made by Board Member McKay to approve the minutes with a correction. Board Member Smith seconded the motion. The vote follows: Ayes: Board Members: Smith, Watts, McKay, Desormeaux and Vice President Wurzbach Nays: None The motion carried. 2. DISCUSSIONS a. Discuss the FCPEMSD 2008-2009 Proposed Budget. Page 2 of 2 -June 10,2008 Minutes of the Fire Control,Prevention, and Emergency Medical Services District Board 3. MANAGER'S REPORT a. Receive update on revenues and expenditures. There was no report presented. b. Set the time, date and place for the next FCPEMSD Board meeting. The meeting was scheduled for July 1, 2008 at 1:30 P.M. with a public Hearing to be scheduled and the adoption of the 2008-2009 budget. 4. ADJOURN Motion made by Board Member Watts to adjourn the meeting. Board Member Desormeaux seconded the motion. The vote follows: Ayes: Board Members: Smith, Watts,McKay, Desormeaux and Vice President Wurzbach Nays: None The motion carried. There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 4:30 P.M.
