A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS,
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN TO SUBMIT
FOUR (4) PARTNERSHIP PROJECT GRANT APPLICATIONS TO HARRIS
COUNTY PRECINCT 2 FOR FISCAL YEAR 2024; AND PROVIDING FOR THE
EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Manager of the City of Baytown is hereby authorized to submit four
(4) Partnership Project Applications to Harris County Precinct 2 for Fiscal year 2024 seeking funding for
the following projects:
• Lantern Park Subdivision Paving, Drainage and Aesthetic Improvements;
• Wayne Gray Park Ball Field, Drainage and Parking Improvements;
• Forty Acre Wood Disc Golf Course;
• Evergreen Trail Loop.
Section 2: That the City Manager is hereby designated as the authorized representative of the
City of Baytown for all purposes under the grant,including the acceptance,affirmation,rejection,alteration,
or termination of any grant award that may result from the above application.
Section 3: This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City
Council of the City of Baytown.
