AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,
TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE DISANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TRACTS OF
LAND FROM THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS;
PROVIDING LEGAL DESCRIPTIONS OF THE AFFECTED AREA; AND
ESTABLISHING THE EFFECTIVE DATE.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby authorizes the
disannexation of the tracts of land legally described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and
incorporated by reference, and such land depicted on Exhibit "A" is hereby disannexed from the
corporate limits of Baytown and shall remain within the extraterritorial jurisdiction (ETJ) of
Baytown.
Section 2: The map attached as Exhibit `B" illustrating the boundaries of the affected
area is hereby adopted and incorporated by reference.
Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the
City Council of the City of Baytown.
INTRODUCED, READ, and PASSED by the affirmative vote of the City Council of the
City of Baytown, this 251h day of January, 2024.
