A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE BAYTOWTJ
MUNICIPAL DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT AUTHORIZING A BUDGET
AMENDMENT FOR FY23 TO REALLOCATE FUNDS FROM CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS (CIP)TO COVER THE UNFORESEEN INCREASE IN
INSURANCE COSTS FOR THE HYATT HOTEL/CONVENTION CENTER;AND
PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.
WHEREAS,on the 4'"'day of August, 2022, after considering the proposedbudget together with
the testimony and information received at the public hearing,the Board of Directors of the Baytown
Municipal Development District adopted the Baytown Municipal Development District's ("MDD")2022-
23 fiscal year budget;and
WHEREAS,the Director of Finance has recommended adjustments to MDD's 2022-23 fiscal year
budget for municipal purposes;and
WHEREAS,the Board of Directors of MDD, after considering the submitted budget adjustments,
believes that the changes are consistent with the interest of the residents of the District;NOW
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE BAYTOWN
MUNICIPAL DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT:
Section I:That all matters and facts set forth in the recitals hereinabove are found to be true
and are approved by the Board of Directors of the Baytown Municipal Development District.
Section 2:That the Board of Directors of the Baytown Municipal Development District hereby
approves the adjustments to MDD's 2022-23 fiscal year budget,attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and
incorporated herein for all intents and purposes.
Section 3: This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the Board
of Directors of the Baytown Municipal Development District.
