Manager's Report
Superior Water Status — Both the City of Baytown and Baytown Area Water
Authority have received Superior Water Status from the Texas Natural Resource
Conservation Commission. The requirements for surface water treatment are very
stringent. TxDOT will post signs on all main highways into the city. TNRCC will inspect
the facilities annually. The City and BAWA must pass this same rigorous inspection to
maintain the "Superior" status.
Texas Water Plan — The Harris County Mayors' and Councils' Association will be
appointing a representative to the Texas Water Plan Development Committee. Board
Member Fuller's name has been placed in nomination supported by La Porte, Baytown
and Deer Park.
Adjourn
There being no further business to be transacted, the meeting was adjourned.
