Plant Manager's Report
a. Discuss Effects of Drought -.Fred Pack, Utilities Director for the City of Baytown,
reported that even with the drought conditions, there has been no curtailment
from the City of Houston of the raw water supplying BAWA. BAWA gets its raw
water from the Trinity River which has always been an excellent source. From
October 1, 1999 through November 16, BAWA had averaged 11.3 mgd.
Herb Thomas, Plant Manager, noted that BAWA never had experienced a
curtailment. He mentioned the completion of the Wallisville Reservoir and its
capacity to further withhold fresh water from going into the Gulf of Mexico.
Adjourn
There being no further business to be transacted, the motion was made to
adjourn.
Dan Munding
Vice -President
