Minutes of the Regular Meeting — October 17, 2001
Manager's Report.
Fred Pack reported that the annual sales for fiscal year 2000-2001 were below projections. The
average daily sales were 11.72 million gallons, while the budget projection was 11.91 million
gallons. This resulted in an $85,000 shortfall. The wet summer appears to have caused the slow
sales.
In response to a question from Board Member Buenz concerning potential acts of terrorism, Mr.
Pack reported that the treated water was not exposed after being filtered. If a contaminant were
placed in the water prior to the treatment process, the process would neutralize the contaminant.
Adjourn
As there was no further business to be transacted, the meeting adjourned at 8:05 a.m.
